With its top-notch theme parks and attractions, Orlando is a prime family holiday destination in the US. But this does not mean that only families or children can enjoy the numerous attractions that Orlando has to offer. Some couples might find Orlando and its roller-coasters to be more romantic than a candle-light dinner.

Few activities can be more exciting than flying, and your other half will surely appreciate such an adventure. Balloon rides have the disadvantage that they start really early in the morning – not very appealing for those couples who like to sleep in late. If you are afraid of flying or if consider that water is your element rather than air, you can try booking a gondola ride on Lake Eola, one of the most romantic Orlando attractions. Yes, you heard me right, Orlando has its own gondola and gondoliers, and they can even sing. There will be several packages available, from a basic gondola ride to a more complex experience including a gourmet dinner by the lake.

What can be more romantic than watching a movie with your loved one and kissing in the dark like two teenagers? If this is your idea of romanticism, and if you also happen to love artsy movies then Enzian Cinema might just be the place for you. With a unique atmosphere and the most comfortable chairs you’ve ever encountered, Enzian if a great way to spend your evening.

Le Cellier Steakhouse

If you happen to stay within one of the Disney Resorts you should know that there are several restaurants there with very nice food and the type of atmosphere that couples enjoy. Le Cellier is one example of couple-friendly restaurant in Orlando. There won’t be very much intimacy, as the place is so popular that it is always full, but the quality of food and service will make you feel spoiled. Just remember to reserve a table in time – you don’t want to transform a romantic dinner into a big fiasco.
