Visiting Miami at springtime can turn out to be one of the most inspired decisions you ever made in terms of travel. While its subtropical climate makes Miami an all-year-round destination, some months are much better than others when it comes to making the best of this fabulous US city. Miami Dance Festival

There are few cities in the world that host such a huge number of dancing competitions and shows as Miami. The Miami Dance Festival takes place every year in May and although not a would famous events, it manages to bring together some pretty good representations. Heineken Transatlantic Festival

Those who prefer latino dances should plan their vacation several weeks in advance, as in mid-April Miami will host some of the hottest fiestas. Across almost an entire month dedicated to latino dances, the Heineken Transatlantic Festival will bring together the masters of tango, salsa or bomba. This is a great occasion to learn some new dance steps or simply to have some fun.

Polo might not be among the world’s most popular sports, but this annual competition in Miami beach has managed to gather around quite an exquisite audience. While the polo matches are the main attraction of the competition, the after-parties with their fancy locations and cocktails attract some of Miami’s wealthiest people. So if you’re a socialite looking for networking and some memorable yacht parties, make sure you’ll be among the Polo Cup’s guests.

Urban Beach Week

There are many things happening in Miami during the Memorial weekend. But one that is worth all the attention in 2012 is the Urban Beach Week. The title might be a little vague, but what the organizers of the event aim at is entertaining the weekend crowds with some of the best ethnic food and music in Miami and the surrounding area. The event became known for its huge beach parties, and big hip hop stage, which is expected to bring over a quarter million youngsters in Miami.
